Follow the Leaders!

We had a photo session to have something to remember after this school year. The class officers--led by the class mayor- Pamela ( former fat princess, but slim na ); Lee-yan, the vice-mayor and the marshall of the class; Joyce, our sexytary ( alvin said it); Christine, the lady marshall ( in relationship with someone); Dane L, ( torn between two guys but chose ____); Gio, the tennis varsity( many times --out of the class... because of training), and the two sports moderators: Jhoanna( the crush of gemar )and Edison( the playboy... basketball player).

They helped me supervise the daily activities of the class, reported some students who were not cooperating, organized the review sessions for the Lasallian Education Assistance Program, and reminded the class of their tasks and responsibilities. The rest of the class did their part in making the classroom a great place for expressing themselves in the athmosphere of love, concern and understanding.

My class did a great job and I hope they will imbibe the same attitude in every situation they will encounter next school year.

Bye Class.. See you around.

Being an adviser of LS 305 made me sober, patient, understanding, and caring. Honestly, it was only this school year that I learned how to be a true adviser in its truest sense. I was able to spend time talking to each one of them during homeroom period reminding them of their priority in life---their studies.

I've monitored their review sessions to see to it that academically challenged students are attending the sessions. I got disappointed sometimes because i felt that some students were not cooperating and they seemed indifferent to what I've been doing to assist them in their academic life. The situations did not deter me from attaining the goals we set during the start of the L.E.A.P.

I hope that after this 4th quarter period they will be able to accomplish all academic requirements and pass all the subjects. I could say that this class brings out the best in me and I will continue to do the same thing---better things for my class next school year.

Muchas Gratias!

Good Deeds!

After the Moving On activity, Year Level Moderator's Assembly with Level 9 students followed. Mr. Fred Amul, the YLM , presented the statistics of offenses committed by the students from the 1st quarter to 3rd quarter. He commended several classes for having the least violations for the three quarters.

The students who had no record of any violations in each class were given certificate of recognition. Honoring of excellent students in academics and discipline is a good way of motivating other students to excel in every endeavor.

I hope Mr. Amul and the Curriculum Coordinators will continue giving recognitions to deserving students so that they would be motivated, inspired, and encouraged to continue what they have been doing to teach minds, touch hearts and transform lives of others.

Moving On...

We just had our Moving On activity sponsored by the Guidance Office this morning. Mr. Fred Angeles, the assistant principal, encouraged the students to be the epitome of Lasallian values when they go to the higher level next school year.He added that since they are the most seniors in the community they are expected to be the role models for the younger Lasallians.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Eva Jonson, the Year Level Moderator of Level 10, posed some important questions that the Juniors need to reflect upon and respond to if they really want to have a smooth sailing performance in academics and discipline. She enjoined them to be a better students and to be obedient to their parents, teachers, and administrators so that in the long run they would reap their rewards for doing so.

Furthermore, the Guidance Counselor of level 10 presented the various activities intended to assist the students to choose their own course related to their skills, talents, and the demand of the market today. Some factors in choosing the right course and the school have been discussed to enlighten them when making a decision. The program was very enlightening and the students were very attentive and active in listening to the speakers.
