When I started to implement the LEAP or Lasallian Education Assistance Program in my class LS 305 I was not thinking of a reward or recognition that I would get from doing it. It was indeed a result of "change of heart” and point of view after discovering my purpose in life and the challenge to live my best life now.
I've gradually learned to see things through the eyes of faith especially in seeking for an opportunity to help my students not only in their academic life but also in other areas where they need guidance. God's favor led me to think of the program to immediately address the situation of my LS 305. The favor of God inspired and motivated my students to actively participate and contribute to the accomplishment of our goals. Hardwork, focus, determination, and deep faith in God had been the driving force that propelled the class to excel in academic endeavor.
It was last May 26 that I presented the program to the Integrated School Faculty. I received a certificate of recognition from the Director of Research and Publications Office, and the administrators and some coworkers congratulated me for a job well done. It was Ms. Haicee Angeles who guided and motivated me to put the program on paper; she was very generous in giving her time for editing my work.
Indeed the gospel principle: "You reap what you sow", has been tested in this experience. I sowed my energy and time for my students, and I reaped a reward--a recognition for doing good deed from fellow co workers. All of these things happened because of faith...faith...and faith alone.
Sir, galing nyo naman. :)
